Allison Taylor

Allison Taylor conducts qualitative and mixed-methods research and evaluation at the ICI, drawing from her background in sociocultural anthropology and clinical social work. She was awarded a 2020-2021 Switzer research fellowship from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research to study trauma-informed approaches in centers for independent living. Allison has worked on a number of projects at ICI, including the TPS Project, Langston University RRTC and AART, the SGA Project, JD-VRTAC, and Think College. Her work covers areas including employment, education, and community living for people with disabilities, trauma, mental health, and the experiences of immigrants and refugees.
