Allie is a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI), Certified Assistive Technology Instructional Specialist for People with Visual Impairment (CATIS), and Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS). At the ICI, Allie supports the Vision Studies academic program and serves as the community liaison for the regional and national partnerships that support the work of meeting the needs of individuals with visual impairments. Previously, Allie worked as the Statewide Assistive Technology Consultant for the Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, helping students reach their technology goals. Allie has taught graduate courses and presented on various topics in the field of visual impairment both regionally and nationally.
