Amy Szarkowski is a research fellow with the ICI. She serves on the LEND Faculty at Boston Children's Hospital, teaching emerging leaders in the health professions about disability policy and advocacy. Dr. Szarkowski is also the director of The Institute at the Children’s Center for Communication/Beverly School for the Deaf (CCCBSD). Additionally, she is a Core Team member for Fostering Joy, a collaboration among families and professionals to celebrate raising and supporting children who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH). Dr. Szarkowski is a member of the Family-Centered Early Intervention for DHH (FCEI-DHH) Writing Team.
