Allen Crocker

Dr. Crocker is an international authority on Down syndrome and developmental disabilities. He has received numerous honors and awards, including the C. Anderson Aldrich Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics; Presidents' Award from the National Down Syndrome Society; and the Martha H. Ziegler Founder's Award from the Federation for Children with Special Needs.

His research focuses on human exceptionality. He has pioneered the study of medical care systems for children with special needs and healthful living for people with Down syndrome. In recent years he has studied the conceptualization of happiness.
