Nancy Hurley has been working with individuals with disabilities in school, community, and residential settings for more than 25 years. Nancy is currently coordinating the Transition Planning series of graduate-level online courses offered through the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Massachusetts Focus Academy. She also works with a community college and Local School Agency partnership to provide high school students receiving services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act with college experiences. Nancy has developed and taught graduate-level college courses in transition planning and trainings in curriculum adaptation, differentiated instruction, alternate assessment, teacher assistant development, person-centered planning, and resource mapping. She has also worked as an adjunct professor at Fitchburg State College, where she taught curriculum development and assessment.
