Cady Landa

At ICI, Cady is staff to the Partnerships in Employment Technical Assistance Center that works with 8 states engaging in systems change in transition of youth with IDD from high school. She co-authored an evaluation of the impact of an employment program for young adults with disabilities on employer culture. In her PhD dissertation and for Access to Integrated Employment Project she examines the access of recently immigrated families to services for children with disabilities. Prior to joining at ICI she taught middle and high school social studies, directed two non-profit agencies (Big Brother Big Sister of Greater Lowell and the Asociacion Comunal de Dominicanos Progresistas, New York City), coordinated a teen pregnancy prevention initiative, and developed social welfare policy and programs, especially in the area of long term care for the New York City government.
