Brenda D’Alotto has worked in education for over 6 years, teaching composition, literature, study skills and test preparation at UMass Boston, Mt. Ida College and Cambridge College after a 17 year career in Human Resources and Corporate Administration.

Currently, she assists students with a variety of academic skills as well as preparation for DOE’s teacher licensure exam (MTEL). Ms. D’Alotto is Co-Principal Investigator on one UMass System Technology grant for 2008-2009 and was named as Project Manager on a second grant. Both grants focus on improving the quality of the Teacher Education program through the use of technology. Her interests include Composition, ELL, Assessment, and Technology in Education. She is currently enrolled in UMB’s MEd. program for Instructional Design.
