Dr. Bozeman entered the vision profession in 1974 as an O&M Specialist in Texas. She attended the University of Texas-Austin for her Masters and Doctoral degrees and has taught at UT, North Carolina Central University, Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand, and UMass-Boston. She has worked with all ages and taught in Taiwan, China, Australia, New Zealand, and the US. She moved to New England from New Zealand in 2006 and is an Associate Professor and the Director of Vision Studies at UMass Boston. She holds certification in O&M, Low Vision, and was licensed as a TVI.
