B.A. in Elementary Education/Moderate Special Needs

Angela joined Children's Hospital in 2001 as the Program Coordinator for the Down Syndrome Program. The Program offers specialized services for all children with Down syndrome and their families. The Down syn­drome program staff works closely with children, parents, medical specialists, community physicians, and educators. Angela also coordinates the Linking Hands Program which has been developed to teach residents what family life is like for children with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Angela works with the LEND program as the family faculty person. She helps bring a parent perspective to the program since she is a parent of son who has Down Syndrome.
